Aurore Ajalbert is a French artist — teacher, director, and cultural consultant.

She discovered the stage at the age of 4 through classical dance, and went on to study literature, performing arts, and pedagogy.

While preparing to join the Opéra de Paris as a classical dancer, she discovered theatre by performing in a school production of Knock or The Triumph of Medicine by Jules Romains. It was a revelation: embodying a character, giving voice to a text, resonating with an audience became a vital act.

From that moment on, theatre never left her.

She was preparing to enter the Comédie-Française in Paris when, in 2002, destiny led her to become a youth jury member at the first edition of the film festival En route vers le monde.
This immersion in cinema, marked by meaningful encounters with renowned filmmakers, opened a new path.

She began writing and chose as her first work a theatrical adaptation of The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, for which she obtained the rights.
This transition from performance to dramatic writing naturally led her to directing, and eventually to creating her first films.

In 2013, she directed her first short film, Désynchronisme, submitted to the Cannes Film Festival.
She then created several works selected by international festivals :

• Nel corso del Tempo (2018) – “Mostre” section at Roma Filmcorto – Independent Cinema

• Acquallegria (2019) – Roma Filmcorto, then Ferrara Film Corto 2020 (#climatechange)

• Parole d’Amore (2020)

• All is Possible (2022)

She is also the author of two e-books :

• The Metamorphosis, a stage adaptation of Kafka's work

• Alba, the Heart and the Reason, an original text exploring the link between emotion and rationality

Now based in Italy, Aurore develops a multilingual and intercultural practice at the crossroads of artistic creation, education, and consulting.

She founded AuroreA, an independent structure organized around two main areas :

– Corsi AuroreA, offering courses in French, theatre, and cinema for children, teens, and adults, as well as individual coaching.
– AuroreA Consulting, which supports artists, educators, and cultural institutions in their projects, communication strategies, and the creation of written, visual, and audiovisual content.

She is currently working on the script for her first feature film, set in Italy.
